Alternatively, customers may also use Bus Route 132 for transportation between the Oak Grove Washington St entrance and Malden Center.

To exit, exit the left side of the train onto the center platform and use Sullivan Elevator 840. To board, use Sullivan Elevator 840 to access the center platform.

Hingham/Hull Ferry Notice: Beginning on May 18, passengers should allow for extra time to park and to access the ferry in Hingham due to work being done for the new dock. In addition, Route 220 buses will be bypassing the shipyard and remain on Route 3A.

Pedestrian Access: There will be no access between the Hingham Ferry Terminal and DCR building. Pedestrian access to and from the ferry dock will be through and around the west side of the Hingham Ferry Terminal. Some sidewalk access at the Terminal may also be restricted during this work. Shipyard Drive: Shipyard Drive will be closed to traffic in front of the Hingham Ferry Terminal starting at 5 AM on Thursday, May 21. Traffic will be rerouted through the Hingham Parking lot. Drop-offs and pick-ups will be relocated to the parking lot. Traffic police and signage will be in place to direct traffic. This closure should last approximately one week.

Blue Line: All trains will operate on the outbound/eastbound track between Wonderland and Revere Beach from Jun 6 - Jun 7, for switch work. This work will also take place during the weekends of Jun 20 – Jun 21 and Jun 27 – Jun 28.

Train service between Wonderland and Revere Beach will operate on the outbound (Wonderland) track approximately every 14 minutes. At Revere Beach, riders will board at the normal platform locations. Inbound service will continue beyond Revere Beach and operate normally to Bowdoin. Wayfinding: Riders are encouraged to follow directions via station signage and from onsite station personnel. Train predictions via countdown clocks will not be available between Wonderland and Revere Beach. Fares: No fares will be collected at Wonderland. Outbound Green Line C trains (toward Cleveland Circle) will not stop at Tappan Street from Saturday, June 13 through Friday, July 10, due to infrastructure upgrades. Riders can board or exit one stop away, at either Washington Square or Dean Road.

Green Line E: Service will be suspended between Government Center and Heath Street from Saturday, May 30 through Friday, June 5 for infrastructure upgrades. Regular B, C, and D Branch service will operate during this work.

Alternate Service: Riders can use Route 39 bus between Copley and Heath Street, which will be enhanced with more frequent service. Travel Time: Riders using the Route 39 should budget ample extra travel time. For example, a rider travelling to Government Center from Heath Street should budget at least an additional 10 minutes of travel in additional to their regular commute. To exit, exit the train at Ashmont, then take an Alewife-bound train to Fields Corner and use Fields Corner Elevator 957. To board, use Fields Corner Elevator 957 to access the Alewife platform. Take an Alewife-bound train to Savin Hill, then transfer to an Ashmont-bound train.

Forest Hills Pedal and Park is experiencing access issues and will be closed for repairs until further notice.

Green Line E Branch: Symphony station will be closed for major accessibility upgrades beginning June 6. Riders can use Prudential or Northeastern to access E Branch service. Construction is expected to last approximately 3 years.

Alternate Service Options: • Riders who typically board or disembark at Symphony can instead board or disembark at Northeastern University or Prudential, which are 0.3 miles away (or about a five-minute walk) from Symphony. • Riders are encouraged to instead consider travelling on the Orange Line at Massachusetts Avenue, which is 0.1 miles (or about a three-minute walk) from Symphony. • Riders may also use the Route 39, which operates parallel to the E branch in both directions along Huntington Avenue. Background: Currently, there are no step-free pathways from the entrances to the platforms at Symphony, and the station is not able to be accessed by people with wheeled mobility devices. When construction is complete in spring 2029, Symphony will be enhanced with four new accessible elevators, raised platforms for easier boarding, accessible bathrooms, improved wayfinding, more lighting, and upgraded safety features, making the station safer and easier to use for all riders. The escalator will remain out of service for the foreseeable future. This decision was made after a thorough inspection determined that corrosion on the escalator’s steel truss was so severe that it could not be repaired further and that a complete replacement of the escalator would be required. Replacing the escalator at this location requires a more extended unit meeting modern escalator safety requirements. This longer unit will require significant alteration to the station entrance to meet code requirements. The MBTA has currently begun design work to understand what station upgrades will be needed. Due to these complexities, we expect the escalator will remain out of service for a significant time. We recognize the challenges this poses to our riders, and please know we are working to identify a solution as quickly as possible. In the meantime, Government Center Station, which is fully accessible and serves the Blue Line, is under a quarter-mile from Bowdoin Station.

Littleton/Route 495 passengers can expect occasional traffic and detours accessing the station due to the Foster Street reconstruction work.

Scheduled to complete sometime in 2027, the Reconstruction of Foster Street includes widening and resurfacing with the addition of bicycle lanes.

There is no accessible path connecting the inbound and outbound platforms at Wellesley Square Station. The existing path includes steep slopes and is long. Designs are underway to provide for a fully compliant pathway.

There are accessible mini-high platforms at the Western end of both the Track 1 and Track 2 sides. However, the existing pedestrian path between the two sides is long and includes steep slopes, especially on the Crest Road bridge over the tracks. The Riverside Ave entrance at Campello Station is currently closed. Passengers may continue to use the Plain St entrance.
