Blue Line: All trains will operate on the outbound/eastbound track between Wonderland and Revere Beach from Jun 6 - Jun 7, for switch work. This work will also take place during the weekends of Jun 20 – 21 & Jun 27 – 28.

Train service between Wonderland and Revere Beach will operate on the outbound (Wonderland) track approximately every 14 minutes. At Revere Beach, riders will board at the normal platform locations. Inbound service will continue beyond Revere Beach and operate normally to Bowdoin. Wayfinding: Riders are encouraged to follow directions via station signage and from onsite station personnel. Train predictions via countdown clocks will not be available between Wonderland and Revere Beach. Fares: No fares will be collected at Wonderland. Travel Time: Riders will experience longer wait times and should allow extra travel time during this work. Affected stations: Wonderland Revere Beach

Red Line: Shuttle buses are replacing service between Broadway, JFK/UMass, and Ashmont through the end of service today, May 18.

Braintree branch riders: Regular service is operating between JFK/UMass and Braintree, but riders must take a shuttle bus between Broadway and JFK/UMass. Accessibility: Free and accessible shuttle buses are operating between Broadway and Ashmont. Accessible van service is available between Broadway and Ashmont. Riders should see station personnel for assistance. Travel times: Riders using shuttles bus service should budget ample extra travel time. For example, a rider travelling to Park Street from Ashmont should budget at least an additional 30 – 40 minutes of travel in additional to their regular commute. Alternate service: Riders are encouraged to consider Commuter Rail service between South Station and Braintree, which will be free during this service change. Riders arriving and departing from South Station should see Keolis staff for free access through the fare gates. Regular fares should be purchased for travel beyond Braintree. Hingham/Hull Ferry Notice: Beginning on May 18, passengers should allow for extra time to park and to access the ferry in Hingham due to work being done for the new dock. In addition, Route 220 buses will be bypassing the shipyard and remain on Route 3A.

Pedestrian Access: There will be no access between the Hingham Ferry Terminal and DCR building. Pedestrian access to the and from the ferry dock will be through and around the west side of the Hingham Ferry Terminal. Some sidewalk access at the Terminal may also be restricted during this work. Shipyard Drive: Shipyard Drive will be closed to traffic in front of the Hingham Ferry Terminal starting at 9 AM on Wednesday, May 20. Traffic will be rerouted through the Hingham Parking lot. Drop-offs and pick-ups will be relocated to the parking lot. Traffic police and signage will be in place to direct traffic. This closure should last approximately one week.

The bus stop at River St @ Fairmont St (inbound) will be permanently closed beginning Tuesday, May 26. Riders can instead board at River St @ Kelly Road or at River St opposite Blackstone St.

Green Line E: Service will be suspended between Government Center and Heath Street from Saturday, May 30 through Friday, June 5 for infrastructure upgrades. Regular B, C, and D Branch service will operate during this work.

Alternate Service: Riders can use Route 39 bus between Copley and Heath Street, which will be enhanced with more frequent service. Travel Time: Riders using the Route 39 should budget ample extra travel time. For example, a rider travelling to Government Center from Heath Street should budget at least an additional 10 minutes of travel in additional to their regular commute. To exit, exit the train at Savin Hill, then take an Ashmont-bound train to Fields Corner and use Fields Corner Elevator 958. To board, use Fields Corner Elevator 958 to access the Ashmont platform. Take an Ashmont-bound train to Shawmut, then transfer to an Alewife-bound train.

Ashmont Elevator 970 (Ashmont platform to Mattapan Line lobby, busway) will be unavailable on Mon, May 18 due to maintenance.

To exit the platform, notify a train motorperson or use a station call box to request assistance. Alternatively, travel to the Beale St walkway to access Dorchester Ave, the busway, and Peabody Sq.

Fields Corner Elevator 958 (Paid lobby to Ashmont platform) will be unavailable from Mon, May 25 through Wed, May 27 due to maintenance.

To exit, exit the train at Ashmont, then take an Alewife-bound train to Fields Corner and use Fields Corner Elevator 957. To board, use Fields Corner Elevator 957 to access the Alewife platform. Take an Alewife-bound train to Savin Hill, then transfer to an Ashmont-bound train.

Forest Hills Pedal and Park is experiencing access issues and will be closed for repairs until further notice.

Green Line E Branch: Symphony station will be closed for major accessibility upgrades beginning June 6. Riders can use Prudential or Northeastern to access E Branch service. Construction is expected to last approximately 3 years.

Alternate Service Options: • Riders who typically board or disembark at Symphony can instead board or disembark at Northeastern University or Prudential, which are 0.3 miles away (or about a five-minute walk) from Symphony. • Riders are encouraged to instead consider travelling on the Orange Line at Massachusetts Avenue, which is 0.1 miles (or about a three-minute walk) from Symphony. • Riders may also use the Route 39, which operates parallel to the E branch in both directions along Huntington Avenue. Background: Currently, there are no step-free pathways from the entrances to the platforms at Symphony, and the station is not able to be accessed by people with wheeled mobility devices. When construction is complete in spring 2029, Symphony will be enhanced with four new accessible elevators, raised platforms for easier boarding, accessible bathrooms, improved wayfinding, more lighting, and upgraded safety features, making the station safer and easier to use for all riders. A shuttle bus will be available to transport customers between Jackson Square and Stony Brook. To exit, exit the train at Stony Brook and find station personnel or use a station call box to request the shuttle bus to Jackson Square. Alternatively, customers may also use Bus Route 22 for transportation between Jackson Square and Roxbury Crossing.

Lynn Elevators 929 (Street to parking garage) and 930 (Street to parking garage) are unavailable until further notice. Please use the accessible parking spaces on the ground level of the garage while the elevators are out of service.

Construction is ongoing in the Hingham Parking lot and on Shipyard Drive in preparation for the Hingham Ferry Dock upgrades. There is reduced parking in the lot, and portions of Shipyard Drive and driveways to and from the parking lot are affected.

To exit, exit the train at Tufts Medical Center, then take an Oak Grove-bound train to Chinatown and use Chinatown Elevator 876. To board, proceed to the Silver Line SL5 bus stop at Washington St and Essex St, and take an SL5 (Downtown) bus to Tufts Medical Center (stay on bus past the Temple Pl stop). Alternatively, if possible, travel 0.2 miles south on Washington St to Tufts Medical Center.

Andrew Escalator 123 (Ashmont/Braintree platform to busway) is unavailable until further notice, pending replacement.

Bowdoin Escalator 125 (Lobby to street) is unavailable until further notice, pending replacement.

The escalator will remain out of service for the foreseeable future. This decision was made after a thorough inspection determined that corrosion on the escalator’s steel truss was so severe that it could not be repaired further and that a complete replacement of the escalator would be required. Replacing the escalator at this location requires a more extended unit meeting modern escalator safety requirements. This longer unit will require significant alteration to the station entrance to meet code requirements. The MBTA has currently begun design work to understand what station upgrades will be needed. Due to these complexities, we expect the escalator will remain out of service for a significant time. We recognize the challenges this poses to our riders, and please know we are working to identify a solution as quickly as possible. In the meantime, Government Center Station, which is fully accessible and serves the Blue Line, is under a quarter-mile from Bowdoin Station.

The platform at Jackson Square is undergoing renovations to improve safety and accessibility. Sections of the platform are unlevel, which may make it difficult for some riders to board and exit trains.

From March through June, 2026, Wickford Junction Garage will be undergoing renovation. Visitors can expect one level at a time to be inaccessible as crews work to complete each floor.

To accommodate Providence Station Renovations, construction barriers have been installed and the Southern stairwell to Track 1 is out of service. Staircase access to Track 3 and Track 5 are now open.

Littleton/Route 495 passengers can expect occasional traffic and detours accessing the station due to the Foster Street reconstruction work.

Scheduled to complete sometime in 2027, the Reconstruction of Foster Street includes widening and resurfacing with the addition of bicycle lanes.

There is no accessible path connecting the inbound and outbound platforms at Wellesley Square Station. The existing path includes steep slopes and is long. Designs are underway to provide for a fully compliant pathway.

There are accessible mini-high platforms at the Western end of both the Track 1 and Track 2 sides. However, the existing pedestrian path between the two sides is long and includes steep slopes, especially on the Crest Road bridge over the tracks. Designs are underway to provide for a fully compliant pathway.

The Riverside Ave entrance at Campello Station is currently closed. Passengers may continue to use the Plain St entrance.
